Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility for enrollment into any of the Universities in Cape Town, South Africa, requires proficiency in the English Language. Students must pass any of PTE Academic, IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT.

UCT also accepts a cumulative average score of 65% from students in their current course of study for any direct entry. Other eligibility requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Copy of valid passport as well as personal ID

  • Proof of application fee payment (where applicable)
  • Copy of high school certificate (for a Bachelor’s degree course)
