Eligibility

Students of any nationality can apply for any in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The process is simple – Fill up the application form, provide a personal statement and wait till you receive the acceptance letter.

No university in Chiang Mai takes an additional entrance test. However, international students should take the Thai Proficiency Test as a Foreign Language called CU-TFL Test. Students applying for English-taught courses can take the IELTS or TOEFL exam. 

International students must apply for a 90-days non-immigrant education visa to stay and study. The students must produce documents such as the university’s acceptance letter, passport, application form, photos, and financial support evidence to the Thai Consulate Embassy. After receiving the residency permit, students can stay and study in Chiang Mai, Thailand, till the study program ends.
