Each of the universities in Daegu has considerable autonomous status. As a result, the admission process and rules differ from institute to institute. Students seeking admission have to apply directly to the universities of their choice after paying the requisite registration charges.
The session for the universities generally starts in March, and the entrance examinations are conducted during October and November. The students may be further called to submit their portfolio of work. The students getting the approval from the university must start the process for Student Visa, as it can be time-consuming. The international students who wish to enrol in the English-taught programmes need to take Language Proficiency Tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc., based on which the admission is secured.
