To its credit,  Ege University, the oldest in Izmir, was ranked 89th in the EECA rankings. The students here can work part-time up to 24 hours a week alongside their studies after getting permission from the university. 

Eligibility Criteria

The admission criteria for universities in Izmir are quite simple. A high school diploma is required; for a master’s program, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject; and for a doctorate, a postgraduate degree is an essential requirement. 

Students have to apply directly through the university. For English-medium courses, scores in tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc., are required to check language proficiency. The university asks for academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose and a passport. After paying the registration fees, the duly filled application form has to be submitted to the university.
