The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is the best, acquiring 145th rank in the QS World University Rankings. Being the second-oldest university in Israel, most degree programs are taught in Hebrew. International students who wish to apply for English-taught courses can choose either the Hadassah Academic College or the Jerusalem College of Technology. Students who want to do arts and music majors can choose the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, hosting international-standard Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

Eligibility Criteria

There is no centralised application process for universities in Jerusalem, and you need to apply directly to the chosen university online, providing the required documents. 

Students applying for English-taught courses should have a TOEFL or IELTS scorecard. Students applying for Masters can use GMAT or GRE scores.

International students should apply for A2 Student Visa as per the Israeli student visa regulations. This process needs to be initiated at least three months before the university’s joining date. Once approved, students can study in Jerusalem and build a successful career.
