Applying to the major universities in Johor is a pretty straightforward process. All you need to do is fill up the application form and send it to the universities along with the required documents. The documents needed include a letter of recommendation, a copy of your valid passport, a government-issued ID, official transcripts of the latest degree, medical health record, and application fees.
International students need to provide an English proficiency certificate from TOEFL or IELTS. You need to score a minimum of 6 in IELTS and 500 in TOEFL to be eligible for admission.
Once all documents are in order, you need to apply for a student pass which is usually facilitated by the respective universities. A Malaysian student pass remains valid for 12 months.
