Eligibility Criteria

The admission process to the universities in Jamaica begins around November. The students have to submit their applications directly to the university. The general requirement for admission is a high school certificate for the bachelor’s program. The students are screened based on performance in standardised tests like SAT. 

The universities may call up a portfolio of work to further assess the candidate. The international students need to prove their language proficiency by taking Language Proficiency Tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, etc. The other documents include a resume, a statement of purpose, a letter of recommendation, proof of financial eligibility and a student visa.
