There are three universities in this city that offer quality education to the students along with various facilities. Out of them, Lampang Rajabhat University is a public university recognised by the government, and it was founded 49 years ago. Around 15,000 students are studying here. There are 12 courses across various disciplines like Agricultural Technology, Science, Management, etc., offered here. The students who graduated from here work in various companies like VSI Group, UBTECH Robotics, ASCOM2 etc. 

Nation University has been a private university providing education to students for the past 34 years and continues to do so. The previous name of this institution was ‘Yonok College’, which was later changed to Nation University. It offers Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in various courses. The architecture and landscape of this university are stunning and has an excellent academic atmosphere too. The strength of students studying here is around 10,000. There are research-based curriculums too, which focus on enhancing the students’ abilities about their particular domain of study.

Eligibility Criteria

To enrol in the universities, you will have to present a high school diploma language proficiency proof, i.e. TOEFL or IELTS. You will have to fill up the application form with the fee in the university of your choice. A student visa or a residence permit is also necessary. Apart from the essential GPA requirement of 3.0-4.0, you will have to give two recommendation letters from colleagues. For the students looking for PG courses, you will also need to submit an essay in 600-800 words on specialisation and proof of your last degree.
