Eligibility Criteria

Most courses in Leuven are taught in English. Hence international students with a firm grasp of the English Language can easily apply. You need to submit the TOEFL,  IELTS, or Cambridge English Exam marks as English proficiency proof. The minimum score in IELTS should be ​​ 7, with no score less than 6.5 in any of the sub-sections for application in KU Leuven.

Once Non-European students receive the acceptance letter from the university, they must contact the nearby Belgium Embassy to initiate their residency permit process. Generally, it takes 3 to 4 weeks for the student visa to get approved.
