Eligibility Criteria

Most universities in Mumbai follow the admission process through online applications. The selection depends based on the applicants’ past academic merits, and application with a CGPA above 3.0 in the previous examination has better chances to get selected.

Accepted applicants must sit for an additional interview round with the board of selectors from the university. Based on that, applicants receive the final acceptance letter.

Most of the study programs in Mumbai are taught in English. Hence international students with IELTS marks can apply for any of these courses. 

After the final selection, international students must contact the nearby Indian Embassy to get a “student visa”. It takes two weeks to receive the residency permit for studies in Mumbai.
