Universities in Sevilla, Spain

Spain is one of the most preferred destinations for students across the world. Its numerous academic centres, rich culture, mid climate weather and relatively cheaper living costs make it an ideal location for students. 

Located in the southwest part of the country is the city of Sevilla, which is the capital and the largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is known as the cultural and financial centre of southern Spain.

Sevilla is home to a handful of universities. The prominent among them include the University of Seville, Pablo de Olavide University, International University of Andalusia, etc. University of Seville (US), one of the top-ranked universities in Spain, was established in 1505. 

The history of the university is closely associated with that of Seville and Andalusia. It has a teaching experience of more than five centuries to its credit. The university offers 87 undergraduate, 93 masters and 32 doctors courses to choose from. 

Its STEM courses are most sought after in Europe and beyond. Every year thousands of students head to Seville to pursue their academic careers. Post-study work opportunities are also plentiful for the students. 

Eligibility Criteria

Students can directly apply to the universities from the official websites of the universities after paying an application fee. The admission is based on standardised tests like GRE, GMAT, etc. 

For international students, the students need to prove their language proficiency in Spanish or English based on the language their chosen course is offered in. 

Further, the financial eligibility of students will also be taken into account. The students will be asked to produce their previous academic transcripts.

For international students, a student visa valid throughout the curriculum is required based on which their application will be considered.
