Generally, students need to apply directly to the colleges after paying an application fee. Applications are screened after that, based on their SAT or ACT scores. The institutes require GMAT, GRE, MCAT tests, etc., for postgraduate courses.

For foreign nationals, an English language proficiency test like IELTS, TOEFL etc., is required. Universities request previous academic transcripts of the applicant and proof of financial eligibility. Further, a passport valid throughout the study program is a must for international students.
